Finding FROST BITE

I've had lots of people comment recently that they can't find FROST BITE in the stores.  Frustrating to the millionth degree!

In case you've been living under a rock, you've probably noticed that the book industry and the retail industry are a mess and books like mine are suffering because of it.

Most retailers carry new books for three months, sometimes 12 months, but that's it.  Unless your book is on the best seller list it will be hard to find in a bricks-and-mortar shop after one year.

The latest FROST BITE (with the cheery red fridge on the cover) was published in May 2011 so it's no wonder it's hard to find in the stores.

So here's what I suggest:

You can order it from any bookstore.  Just tell them the full name of the book or the ISBN (ie, the number on the back - in FROST BITE's case it's 9781742570990) and it should arrive instore in about a week.  They will probably charge you Recommended Retail Price.

Alternatively, you can buy it online.  In Australia I recommend you try www.booko.com.au as it will direct you to the cheapest sites for any book.  For everyone overseas, I'd try Amazon or other large online store.

Hope that helps.

  1. I managed to find the toddlers to teens as a used copy on Amazon. As I had the first book I felt getting the red fridge version would be a double up for me. Can wait till the third. Had the herb crumbled lamb cutlets and slow roasted veg for dinner. What a fantastic recipe. My seven year old ate four cutlets...that's a record.

    1. Hi Sharon.

I'm so glad you tracked down the Toddlers to Teenagers book. By having both books you'll have more recipes that if you had the red-fridge book, as it's a "best of collection".

I'm glad you're keen for another volume of Frost Bite recipes! I have plenty of recipes up my sleeve and am considering my options as the book business is abit crazy these days. An e-book is a strong option but they're still in their infancy. It probably won't be long before they're more popular and I might jump on the bandwagon.

Thanks for taking the time to comment!
